  • 2 tablespoons flour all-purpose, can use gluten-free all-purpose flour for a GF stew
  • 1/2 cup white wine I used Pinot Grigio
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 16 ounces oysters if they are large you can chop them
  • kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper I added a pinch more at the end because we like it spicy
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • flat leaf parsley leaves Fresh, chopped, optional
  • oyster crackers optional
