Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix the glutinous rice, vegetable oil, salt, and water together until well combined. Set aside.

To wrap the zong zi, take two bamboo leaves and overlap them with the shiny side facing down. Place about 1/4 cup of the rice mixture in the center of the leaves.
Add a spoonful of the filling on top of the rice, then cover with another 1/4 cup of rice mixture.
Wrap the leaves around the filling, making sure the rice is completely enclosed. Use the kitchen twine to tie the zong zi tightly.
Repeat this process until all the ingredients are used up.
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and carefully place the zong zi in the pot. Make sure they are completely submerged in water.
Cover the pot and let the zong zi simmer for 2 hours over medium heat.
Remove the zong zi from the pot and let them cool before unwrapping and serving.
