Ingredients

For the wrap:

  • Rice flour
  • Cornstarch

Pour a thin layer of the rice flour mixture onto the pan and spread it evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to lift. Gently flip the wrap and cook for another minute. Repeat the process until all the batter is used up.

Making the filling:

To assemble the wrap, place a rice paper sheet on a flat surface and lightly wet it with water. This will make it pliable. Add a layer of the cooked wrap, followed by the shrimp, meat, tofu, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, pickled carrots and daikon, and green onions. Fold the sides of the wrap towards the center and then roll it tightly. Repeat the process for all the wraps.

Serving:

Heat a pan with some vegetable oil and lightly fry the assembled wraps until golden brown on both sides. Alternatively, you can also grill the wraps for a healthier option. Cut each wrap into bite-sized pieces and serve with a dipping sauce made from fish sauce, sugar, lime juice, and water. Garnish with crushed roasted peanuts and enjoy your delicious Vietnamese wrap!
