1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 cup of water
Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Make the vindaloo paste:
In a dry skillet, toast the cumin seeds, coriander seeds, black peppercorns, mustard seeds, and fenugreek seeds over medium heat until fragrant.
Let the spices cool, then grind them in a spice grinder or mortar and pestle.
