St. Patrick’s Day Green No-Bake Oreo Ball Truffles
Ingredients
- 1 package oreos I used Double Chocolate ones
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 package candy melts Wilton Green
- sprinkles St. Patrick’s Day
To start, preheat your oven to 325°F and grease a 9-inch springform pan. In a bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and a few drops of green food coloring until the desired shade of green is achieved.
Pour the mixture over the crust and smooth out the top with a spatula. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is almost set. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional 15 minutes.
Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool for 30 minutes. In the meantime, mix together the sour cream and a few more drops of green food coloring. Spread the mixture over the top of the cheesecake and return it to the oven for 10 minutes.
Once cooled, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top for an extra touch of sweetness and enjoy your St. Patrick's Day green cheesecake with friends and family.
