2 lbs bone-in beef short ribs
Salt and pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cup Irish stout beer
1 cup beef broth

2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 bay leaf
4 carrots, peeled and chopped
4 potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 head of cabbage, sliced
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Season the short ribs generously with salt and pepper.
In a large oven-safe pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the short ribs to the pot and cook until browned on all sides. This will take about 8 minutes.
