Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the rice
1. Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear.
2. In a large pot, add the washed rice, water, salt, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick, and bay leaf.
3. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked.
