Ingredients:

In a separate pot, layer half of the partially cooked rice at the bottom, followed by the chicken mixture, and then the remaining rice on top. 8. Cover the pot and let the biryani cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes, until the rice is fully cooked and the flavors have blended together. 9.   • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander seeds powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon corn powder black pepper
  • 3/4 cup yogurt /curd
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped
  • 5 green chilies
  • 4 dried plums aloo bukhara/, optional ingredient
  • 2 potatoes peeled and cut into 4 halves
  • 750 grams basmati rice soaked for 30 minutes
  • water for boiling the rice
  • salt to taste
