Press this mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 20cm pudding basin, making sure it is compact and even. Place in the fridge to set for 30 minutes.
Next, crush the 150g of Maltesers and mix them in with the Christmas pudding. Spoon this mixture into the biscuit base, pressing it down gently to ensure it is well packed. Place back in the fridge to set for another 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the dark and milk chocolate in separate bowls over a pan of simmering water. Once melted, pour the dark chocolate over the top of the pudding mixture, making sure to cover it completely. Smooth out the top using a spatula and then place back in the fridge for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove the pudding from the fridge and pour the melted milk chocolate over the top, again making sure to cover it completely and smoothing out the top. Place back in the fridge for another 20 minutes.
Once the pudding has set, decorate the top with the 100g of whole Maltesers and melt the white chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Using a spoon, drizzle the white chocolate over the top of the Maltesers to create a festive design. Place back in the fridge for a final 20 minutes.
When ready to serve, carefully remove the pudding from the basin by running a knife around the edge and gently tipping it out onto a serving plate. Slice and enjoy your delicious Malteser Christmas Pudding Bombe with your loved ones.
