How to make little chocolate Christmas puddings
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup of chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- Green and red food coloring
Instructions:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together until smooth. Stir in the sugar until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then gradually add them to the chocolate mixture.
- In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Add this to the chocolate mixture and mix until well combined.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract. Then, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners and pour the batter into each cup, filling them about 3/4 full.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let them cool completely.
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream and chocolate chips over medium heat until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Let it cool for a few minutes.
- Divide the ganache into two bowls and add a few drops of green food coloring to one and red food coloring to the other. Stir until well combined.
- Drizzle the green ganache over the cooled puddings to resemble holly leaves. Then, add small dots of the red ganache on top for berries.
- Refrigerate the puddings for about 30 minutes to allow the ganache to set. Serve and enjoy!
