Ingredients for Indian Shawarma

For the marinade:

  • Ginger-garlic paste: 2 tablespoons
  • Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala: 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons
  • Oil: 2 tablespoons

For the shawarma wrap:

  • Whole wheat tortilla: 4, medium-sized
  • Onion: 1, thinly sliced
  • Tomato: 1, thinly sliced
  • Cucumber: 1, thinly sliced
  • Cabbage: 1 cup, shredded
  • Mint leaves: ¼ cup, chopped
  • Mayonnaise: 4 tablespoons
  • Green chutney: 4 tablespoons
  • Oil: for grilling

Instructions

1. Prepare the marinade:
