Ingredients
For the chocolate mugs:
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
For the decoration:
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/4 cup red candy melts
1/4 cup green candy melts
1/4 cup mini marshmallows
1/4 cup sprinkles
Instructions
Making the chocolate mugs:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
Add in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt, and stir until well combined.
Pour the chocolate mixture into mini silicone molds, filling each mold about 3/4 of the way full.
Place the molds in the freezer for about 15 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.
While the chocolate is setting, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
Remove the chocolate mugs from the freezer and carefully pop them out of the molds.
Using a small spoon, coat the inside of each chocolate mug with the melted white chocolate, making sure to cover all the sides.
Place the mugs back in the freezer for another 15 minutes to set.
Making the decoration:
In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the red and green candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
Remove the chocolate mugs from the freezer and carefully dip the rim of each mug in the melted candy melts to create a festive border.
Place the mugs back in the freezer for another 5 minutes to set.
Using a toothpick, draw a holiday design on top of each mug with the remaining melted candy melts.
Top each mug with mini marshmallows and sprinkles for a cute and festive touch.
