Ingredients for Mexican Pork Empanadas

For the dough:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
  • 1 egg
  • ⅓ cup cold water
