  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • Handful of curry leaves
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Handful of peanuts
  • Handful of coriander leaves, chopped

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Once they start to crackle, add onions, green chilli, and curry leaves. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown. Then, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well and add flattened rice. Stir gently and cook for 3-4 minutes. Toast the peanuts separately and add them to the poha. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot. Poha is a light and healthy breakfast option that can be enjoyed with a cup of hot tea or coffee.
