  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 red onion large, – finely sliced
  • 15 curry leaves fresh if you can get them. If using dry, use 25 leaves.
  • 5 cloves garlic mashed into a paste
  • 1 inch ginger piece of, finely grated
  • 2 tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 11/16 cups coconut milk
  • 3 red chilies cut in half lengthwise
  • 4 tablespoons double cream
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala homemade if you have it
