Ingredients

• 7 2/3 tablespoons plain flour
• 3 tablespoons arrowroot powder
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon xanthum gum
• 1 cup muscovado sugar dark brown
• 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
• 1 3/8 cups breadcrumbs fresh white
• 1/2 teaspoon mixed spice ground
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 2 oranges approx 100ml orange juice
• 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 5 3/8 tablespoons water
• 4 tablespoons brandy or contreau
• 1 teaspoon orange extract natural, optional
• 9/16 cup dark chocolate chips
• 1 7/16 cups brandy soaked mixed dried fruit & citrus peel*
• 2/3 cup pitted dates chopped into small pieces
• 4 1/4 cups pudding basin/tin
