- rum Drained, / Brandy : 2 – 3 tbsp
- cinnamon : 3 – 4 sticks
- cardamom : 5 nos
- cloves : 4 nos
- 1/2 nutmeg small
- jeera Cake, / Shajeera, optional : a small pinch
