Ingredients

• 2 1/2 cups flour all-purpose, for a thicker cookie use 2½
• 1 cup butter softened
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 large eggs at room temperature
